Salesmaster Flooring Solutions was founded in 1961 by Bert Kurtz as a small counter operation in East Meadow, New York. Since then, the company has grown into one of the USA’s top flooring and installation supplies distributors.
Throughout the many decades that Salesmaster has been in business, the company has demonstrated consistent growth, adding new suppliers, customers, and territories on a regular basis. Much of Salesmaster’s success can be attributed to its philosophy of treating customers, vendors, and employees alike with the highest level of respect. Furthermore, Salesmaster has always proactively developed and refined its systems to continually improve itself as an employer and business partner. By ensuring it is second to none in such areas as service, product selection, logistics, technology, and training, Salesmaster has built itself into a major force in the floor covering industry.
Today, the organization has several warehouse locations, including three SuperCenter wholesale distribution facilities that service all of the northeastern United States. Our Deer Park, NY facility services the New York City metro area, Long Island, Westchester County and New Jersey. Our Farmington, NY facility services upstate New York from Albany though Buffalo. Our Chicopee, MA facility services all of the New England states. These are all highly modern facilities, designed specifically to provide enhanced customer service and improved logistics.
Among its 70+ employees, Salesmaster has 24 sales representatives on the road, including seven Architecture and Design Specialists and several Technical Specialists. Through its Architect and Design Division, Salesmaster acts as a liaison between the architectural community, the general contractor, and the end user. Salesmaster assists all parties in making the proper specification for every application.
Salesmaster also has its own fleet of 15 trucks, including five tractor-trailers, which enables the company to create outstanding logistics solutions for our valued customers.
